Talk about an event that you had prepared well for. Please say

– what the event was
– what the occasion was
– who helped you prepare for it
– and explain why you had to prepare well for this event.

Part 3 (Discussion)

– Why is preparation important?
– How can parents teach their children to be well-prepared?
– When should children be well-prepared?
– Can you give me an example?
– What are the requirements for organizations to be well-prepared?
– Would it help to manage them more efficiently?

Some parents think that children should be the best at everything they do, while others disagree. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Part 1 (Interview)

– How often do you look in the mirror?
– Do you like to check yourself out in the mirror while trying on new clothes?

Part 2 (Cue Card)

Describe a person you follow daily on social media. Please say

– what content he/she posts on social media
– and explain why you follow this person on social media.

Part 3 (Discussion)

– Do other people also follow this person on social media?
– Do younger and older people use the same social media platforms?
– Who spends more time on social media, older or younger people?

Writing task 2 (an essay) Family members and friends caring for elderly people find it hard to spend enough time looking after them. What are the causes of this problem? What solutions can you suggest?

– In your country, at what age do children start learning science subjects?
– Do you like science subjects?
– How are they useful to you in your daily life?

Part 2 (Cue Card) Talk about a skill that was difficult for you to learn. You should say– what skill it was
– why you learnt it
– why it was difficult to learn
and explain how you felt about this.

Part 3 (Discussion)– People can learn something without teachers these days. How do they do that?
– What are the differences between human teachers and other ways to teach yourself something?
– What are the essential skills that children should learn?
– Why can children learn faster than adults?
